In an effort to eliminate the duplicate activities for volunteers and non-profit organizations we have created the Volunteer Passport program to avoid volunteers from having to be registered, screened and submit a Criminal Record and/or Vulnerable Sector check with every organization they want to volunteer with.

The Volunteer Passport program enables volunteers to register with the Collingwood Volunteer Centre and complete the screening process once. They receive a Volunteer Passport which allows them to volunteer with all of the organizations participating in the Volunteer Passport program.

The screening process is completed following the highest standards, and streamlines the volunteer process for both the volunteer and the organization.
